The Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations suggests that 690 million people went hungry in 2019. Even more people cannot access healthy and nutritious food. This problem is getting worse year after year as the population grows and efforts to ensure food security has led to subpar results. IFSD’s work on Agrifood Systems aims to generate research insights, practical solutions, and policy options to tackle this problem globally.
